Bits and pieces

For Father’s Day 2011 – Can you see me now?

For Father’s Day 2011, who are we, really?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

We are all a mosaic of our past
Bits and pieces of life’s tiles
Grouted by our temporal beliefs
The art of our creation is change
Only the grout remains in place
Sometimes narrowing to accommodate
Then widening to distance contradiction
This tiler tableau is never finished
Until in death it is sealed and hardens
To become an archaic artifact of self
